We both had: Cheesecake and green tea.

Good
Randy says: The cheesecake was very light cheese. It came with cream. It was hard to tell which was cream and which was cheesecake because they were identically colored. The cheesecake wasn't too sweet as is so horribly often the case with cheesecake in the U.S.

Jeff says: The cheesecake was good. The crust was not graham cracker, it was thicker. The tea came in a huge mug like a soup bowl.

Randy says: That's too much water for the tea.

Chokladkoppen ("The chocolate cup") is a coffee and dessert house that caters to a young, hip, gay crowd. Among the customers we saw were young guys poured into skin tight shirts, one of which was silver lamé. Chokladkoppen is located in Gamla Stan, the Old City, near the Royal Palace. The inside is tiny but delightfully non-smoking. The decor at the time we were there (during Stockholm Gay Pride) consisted of photos of semi-naked women together in various positions. (Would it have killed them to put some hot guys up too?)

We waited a very long time for someone to take our order. After a while Randy went up to the counter to ask if he could place the order there, but they said to have a seat and someone would come to us. Finally someone did. There must have been a staff shortage because besides the long wait, the restroom was in dyer need of some attention.

If you want something other than dessert or a beverage, they will happily get you anything from the sandwich shop next door. Why not just go next door then? Because then you'd just be in a sandwich shop eating your sandwich instead of eating it in a hip, non-smoking gay coffee house full of interesting people to watch.
